Who We Are

J-Pimentel Companies, LLC, doing business as JPC Plumbing ("JPC", "we", "us", or "our"), is a licensed plumbing service company based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from customers, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding that information.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to schedule, dispatch, perform, and bill for plumbing service. That typically includes:

• Contact information: name, phone number, and email address
• Service address: the address where work will be performed
• Job details: description of the issue, photos you choose to share, notes from the intake call
• Scheduling and communication history: appointment times, SMS/call logs with our team
• Payment information: processed securely through Square; we do not store full payment card numbers on our systems

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to operate and deliver our plumbing services, including:

• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Dispatching a technician and providing ETA updates
• Performing the requested work and documenting it for warranty purposes
• Invoicing and collecting payment
• Following up on completed work, warranty questions, and service requests
• Complying with legal, tax, and licensing requirements

We do not sell, rent, or trade customer information to third parties for marketing purposes.

SMS / Text Messaging Data

When you opt in to receive SMS messages from JPC Plumbing (by submitting our booking form, providing your number to our answering service during a call, or texting our SMS line directly), we collect and process:

• Your mobile phone number
• The fact of your opt-in and the timestamp of consent
• The message history of any SMS exchanges you have with our team

Mobile information will never be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data is used solely to send the transactional messages described in our SMS Policy (appointment confirmations, technician ETAs, payment links, follow-ups). We share the minimum necessary information with our SMS delivery provider (Twilio, Inc.) only to deliver those messages — never for their marketing or any unrelated use.

You can stop receiving SMS from us any time by replying STOP to any text message we send, or by emailing support@jpc123.com. For help, reply HELP. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan; JPC Plumbing does not charge you for SMS. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message frequency is transactional and as-needed (typically 1 to 6 messages per service call).

Third-Party Service Providers

We use a small number of trusted providers to operate our business. Each processes information only on our behalf and only for the purposes we engage them for. None of them is authorized to use customer information for their own marketing.

• Twilio, Inc. — SMS messaging and voice call delivery for appointment confirmations, ETAs, payment links, and service follow-ups. See our SMS Policy for details.
• Square, Inc. — secure payment processing (credit/debit card) and invoicing.
• Google LLC (Google Workspace) — calendar scheduling, email, document storage, and Google Drive hosting of job records and photos.
• PATLive — our third-party live answering service that takes incoming customer calls and books jobs on our behalf.
• QuickBooks (Intuit, Inc.) — accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll.

Information shared with any of these providers is limited to what is necessary for the service they perform.

The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How We Protect Information

We use reasonable physical, administrative, and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. Customer files, photos, and payment data are stored with industry-standard providers (Google Workspace, Square) that meet applicable security standards. Access is limited to JPC staff who need the information to deliver service.

Data Retention

We retain customer records for as long as needed to provide warranty on our work (a minimum of 6 months on all labor), to comply with legal and tax obligations (typically 7 years for financial records), and to maintain the job history that supports repeat-customer discounts and callback service. You may request deletion at any time as described below, subject to legal retention requirements.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding the information we hold about you:

• Access: request a copy of the information we hold about you.
• Correction: ask us to correct any inaccurate or outdated information.
• Deletion: request deletion of your information, subject to legal retention obligations (e.g., tax records).
• SMS opt-out: reply STOP to any text message from us, or email us to be removed from SMS.

Children's Privacy

Our services are directed to adult property owners and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated via our website.
