J-Pimentel Companies, LLC, doing business as JPC Plumbing ("JPC", "we", "us", or "our"), is a licensed plumbing service company based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, serving the Sioux Falls metro and surrounding communities. This policy explains the text-messaging (SMS/MMS) communications we send to customers and how to manage those messages.
We send transactional, service-related SMS/MMS messages to customers who have requested service. Message categories include:
We do not send marketing, promotional, or bulk messages. All SMS communication is transactional and directly related to a service you have requested.
Message frequency is transactional and as-needed. Most customers receive between 1 and 6 messages per service call (booking confirmation, reminder, ETA, arrival, completion, invoice/payment). Frequency varies based on the nature of the job.
You opt in to receive SMS messages from JPC Plumbing by taking one of the following actions, each of which constitutes your express consent for us to text you about your service request:
Consent to receive SMS is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services from JPC Plumbing, and you may revoke it at any time using the opt-out method below.
You can stop receiving messages from us at any time. Reply STOP to any text message you receive from our line. You will receive one final confirmation message acknowledging that you have unsubscribed, and we will not send further SMS messages to your number. JPC Plumbing does not charge you to receive SMS messages from us. However, message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply depending on your plan. Contact your carrier for details.
Messages are delivered through all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and their affiliates. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We take customer privacy seriously. We do not sell, rent, share, or trade your phone number, SMS opt-in data, or any other personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. SMS opt-in data and phone numbers collected for the purpose of communicating about your service are used solely for that purpose and are not shared with unrelated third parties. The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We may update this SMS Messaging Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via the website or a service notice.
