These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your engagement of plumbing services from J-Pimentel Companies, LLC, doing business as JPC Plumbing ("JPC", "we", "us", or "our"), and your use of our website, booking form, and text-messaging communications. By requesting service, submitting our booking form, or communicating with us by phone or SMS, you agree to these Terms.
JPC Plumbing provides licensed residential and commercial plumbing services in the Sioux Falls, South Dakota metropolitan area and surrounding communities. Services include, but are not limited to: emergency plumbing repairs, drain cleaning, water heater installation and repair, gas line services, fixture installation, leak repair, and general plumbing diagnostics.
Service calls are scheduled through our live answering service (PATLive), our online booking form at https://jpc123.com/booking/, direct phone call, or text message to (605) 800-7359 or our SMS line (888-560-9475). Estimated arrival times are provided in good faith but may vary based on prior service calls, traffic, and weather conditions.
JPC Plumbing bills on an hourly basis, with minimum charges that depend on the distance from our service area. Parts are priced with standard markup applied at the time of invoicing. South Dakota excise tax is applied where required. A discount may be available for cash payment.
JPC Plumbing warrants all labor on completed work for a period of at least 6 months from the date of service. If the same issue recurs within the warranty period, we will return to correct the work at no charge for labor. Warranty does not cover issues caused by customer misuse, additional or unrelated problems, or diagnostic-only visits where no repair was performed. Parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty; we will assist with manufacturer warranty claims at no charge for reasonable support.
By providing your phone number and opting in to SMS communication (by submitting the booking form with the SMS consent checkbox checked, verbally consenting during a call with our answering service, or texting our SMS line), you agree to receive transactional SMS messages from JPC Plumbing. This includes appointment confirmations, technician ETAs, arrival and completion notifications, payment links, service follow-ups, and review requests.
You agree to provide accurate contact information, safe and reasonable access to the work area, and timely payment for services rendered. You agree to notify us promptly of any issues arising from our work so that warranty remedies can be applied.
You may cancel or reschedule a non-emergency appointment at any reasonable time in advance by calling, texting, or emailing us. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable trip fee for canceled appointments where the technician has already been dispatched or arrived on site, or for no-shows.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JPC Plumbing's total liability for any claim arising from the services provided is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. JPC Plumbing is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for willful misconduct.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to services provided by JPC Plumbing or these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the matter cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, the parties agree that any action shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Minnehaha County, South Dakota. Both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
